MMA Draft

Terms of Use

Effective September 5, 2026 · Version 2026-09-05

Your agreement with MMA Draft

These Terms govern your use of MMA Draft at mmadraft.net, operated by John Kern in Florida, United States. You agree to these Terms when you affirmatively accept them. The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. The Privacy Policy explains our information practices.

MMA Draft is an independent fantasy sports service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by UFC, its owners, any fight promotion, or any featured athlete. Referenced names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and the age of legal adulthood where you live, be able to enter this agreement, and use the service only where lawful. Availability on the internet does not mean the service is permitted in every jurisdiction. You must not use it in violation of applicable sanctions or other legal restrictions.

Provide an email address you control and accurate required account information. Choose a lawful username that does not impersonate someone. Protect your login credentials and promptly report unauthorized access. Do not share or sell accounts, evade restrictions, or create multiple accounts to manipulate a league. You remain responsible for activity you authorize, subject to rights and protections that applicable law gives you.

Free play, no wagering or prizes

The current service is free. MMA Draft does not charge entry fees, accept bets or deposits, hold league funds, offer cash payouts or prizes, or issue anything redeemable for money. Rankings, points, and league wins have no cash value.

Do not use the service to solicit or administer wagers, paid-entry contests, prize pools, or other gambling arrangements. We do not administer or guarantee outside arrangements between users. A future paid feature or promotion would require separate advance information and any necessary additional terms; these Terms do not authorize an automatic charge.

League rules, drafts, and results

Review a league’s displayed roster, scoring, draft, waiver, and trade rules before joining. Commissioners manage their leagues within the permissions provided by the site; they are independent users and cannot make commitments on behalf of MMA Draft. Report conflicts or misuse of commissioner powers through our contact page.

Drafts require all team slots to be filled. An incomplete league’s scheduled start is cleared when that time arrives. In leagues of five or more managers, multiple fighters in a turn are selected and submitted together using one turn clock. A missed clock enables autodraft, which remains on until the manager turns it off. Autodraft selects according to available eligible fighters and the application’s ranking rules; it does not guarantee your preferred choices or any result.

Transactions are governed by the server’s recorded state and receipt of requests. A displayed selection is not final until accepted by the server. Network delays, outages, live ranking changes, postponed fights, corrections, and bugs can affect play. We may correct errors, reverse abusive or invalid transactions, adjust erroneous scores, or pause affected play to preserve a fair and functioning service. We will explain material corrections where reasonably practicable. There is no guarantee of a particular fighter, scoring result, league outcome, or uninterrupted draft.

Acceptable use

Use the service respectfully and fairly. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, or expose private information about another person. Do not post unlawful, sexually exploitative, or infringing content; send spam; manipulate trades or drafts through collusion or duplicate accounts; attack the service; or bypass access controls, rate limits, or account restrictions.

Do not access another account or league without authorization, harvest personal information, or use automated tools that interfere with play or service availability. Built-in autodraft is permitted. If you find a security issue, report it privately and avoid collecting others’ data or causing disruption. See the Community Guidelines for reporting and enforcement details.

Your content and permissions

You keep ownership of content you create, such as messages, team names, and forum posts. You are responsible for having the rights to submit it and for respecting others’ privacy.

You grant MMA Draft a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, copy, transmit, display, and technically format your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and fulfill its purpose. Service providers may process content for those purposes. This is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your private messages.

The license ends for content removed from active use except to the extent reasonably needed for lawful retention, restricted backups, dispute records, or content you intentionally shared that remains part of others’ permitted interactions, subject to your privacy rights. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Site content and third-party rights

The site’s software, design, branding, and original materials are protected by intellectual property law. Subject to these Terms, you may access and use them for personal participation in the service. Third-party names, statistics, photos, trademarks, and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Do not assume their appearance here grants a right to reuse them elsewhere.

Send copyright or other intellectual-property concerns using our copyright reporting instructions. Third-party websites reached through a link have their own terms and privacy practices.

Availability and changes

We may update features, maintain systems, change rules prospectively, or discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible, we will provide advance notice of a material change affecting ongoing use. Urgent security, legal, abuse, or technical issues may require immediate action. We will not use an update to remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

Material changes to these Terms will be identified by a new effective date and brought to your attention through the site or account email. We will request renewed agreement where required. A change does not retroactively resolve an existing dispute in our favor.

Suspension, closure, and deletion

You may stop using the service at any time and request account closure through Contact & Privacy Requests. Logging out or leaving a league is not account deletion.

We may restrict content or suspend or close an account for material or repeated rule violations, security risks, legal requirements, or misuse. Where appropriate, we will provide the reason and a way to request review; urgent cases or legal restrictions may limit prior notice. You may appeal to the contact address on this page. Lawful retention of records and the handling of shared league history are described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Sports information and automated outcomes may be incomplete or incorrect. The service does not provide financial, betting, or professional advice.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses arising from use of the service, or for independent conduct of other users that we did not direct or authorize. This provision does not exclude liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where protected by law, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory warranties, remedies, and consumer rights remain in effect.

Questions, disputes, and remaining terms

Please contact jack@mmadraft.net if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. This request does not prevent you from contacting a regulator, seeking urgent relief, or using a court or remedy available under applicable law. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Applicable mandatory laws and your protected consumer rights govern notwithstanding any conflicting wording here. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcement does not waive a right. Provisions that reasonably need to continue after account closure—including lawful retention, intellectual property, disputes, and limits on responsibility—continue subject to applicable law.
